  13. You speak of the ellusive MacApp Resedit project.  Which doesn't exist but
  14. certianly should be written.  I will volunteer that if anyone out there wishes
  15. to write a MacApp ResEdit and make sources avaialbe to the MacAppDA that we
  16. will distribute it and pay the “BRAVE SOUL” for their efforts (not near as much
  17. as Apple but hey $1000-$1500 for a good complete program or framework pays for
  18. gas and a trip to Burger KING).  I know that NO project like this exists at
  19. Apple for the production of a commercial product, however the “view” editor
  20. sample program under development (that we hope will reach light of day) may be
  21. the starting place for all of this (w’da’ya think Curt?).

  23. As for MacDraw, MacPaint, BitMap, Pixmap or some other such classes to aid in
  24. the graphics arena,  I know that Larry Rosenstein has been saying that someday
  25. REAL SOON NOW he would clean up what he had and make it available for the rest
  26. of us.  We’ve been waiting about 1 year (MacApp 2.0 has a way of delaying
  27. things) soooo... I am now of the opinion that if he can get to it in the next
  28. 3-4 months we will see it in the 2.0 or 2.1 release otherwise we should look at
  29. one of us out here giving it a try.

  31. There will be the usual MacApp Developer’s Association meeting some time during
  32. the MacWorld.  Details are not clear but it is usually held the last day of
  33. MacWorld.
